Mid-Century Armenian Ceramics: An Artificial exploration

In a search for experimental processes and pattern-making, I decided to return to my culture and structure a prompt to reflect that. These vases are the result of historic Armenian textile and graphic design coupled with midcentury Western pottery (in itself an adaptation of the skills and craft of Native peoples of the Americas). I wanted to draft a starting point for creating work by hand. My goal is to study these, and actual textiles and graphic design samples, in order to apply them to my pottery.
