The Last Pine - Book Sketches

Sketches for a book about the last big Oregon pine in my backyard as a child.

As a child, I spent many summer afternoons under this towering tree - its branches creating a roaring sound as the wind blew through them. In winter we would use the cones for kindling, and the needles for groundcover (to stop weeds).
