This piece was done with no prior planning - the intent was to allow my hand and eyes to use rulesets of composition from constant practice, to autopilot on a large scale - perfecting the unintentional cohesiveness of 'style'. A stroke is not a line, a line is intentional in every aspect - there is a utilitarian purpose. A stroke is a signature of movent, learned by the body over time as we repeat an action - be it a pen, knife, chisel, or brush. This leads to 'style' - a recognizable mark made by a singular human. It's fascinating and I hope to learn more about why this happens and how to perfect it as I continue.
